Give a warm NTASR welcome to Holly Anne!
Holly Anne is one of 13 Amish Puppy Mill Puppies.
Holly is a timid girl who is still learning that all people are not scary. She's very reserved and will not seek you out until she has gotten comfortable in your presence and, like her sister Ivy, is highly food motivated and enjoys the company of other dogs. Holly has been exposed to children, other dogs, cats, chickens as well as horses.
Holly is crate trained as well as puppy pad trained. Leash training has not been attempted to prevent adding stress due to her social anxiety but is excellent with a routine and learns very quickly.
Holly Anne LOVES outdoor time with her sister, mom and furry foster family. She gets on well with all of the other animals, and is especially fond of her furry foster brother and follows him everywhere he goes.
Holly would do best in a quiet home/two person family who understand that she has been through quite a bit during her short time on earth and needs patience and love and can be incorporated into her daily routine for familiarity. Young children would likely compound any contact anxiety she is still facing, and we would not recommend her to a home with children under the age of 16.
Holly Anne is a 10 month old Standard Australian Shepherd . Shes is mostly pee pad trained and is crate trained sleeping throught the night without accidents. A fenced yard is a must for our timid brown eyed girl. Holly Anne is scheduled to be spayed later this month and will be microchipped & finished with age appropriate vaccinations .
