Poppy comes to us as an owner surrender. She is a beautiful corgi who is learning a whole new way of life. She is a little shy and reserved but is gaining more confidence every day. She is not leash trained and still learning to trust people and get comfy.
From her foster momma:
“Poppy is a reserved little Corgi and is going to need time and a lot of patience to trust new people. Once she decided that she could trust me, she was always by my side and ready to exchange kisses for belly rubs. As she is gaining more confidence, she is more comfortable exploring the house and yard without any other dog but would prefer to be around another dog. She just learned how to use the doggie door to come inside the house. Since Poppy discovered the comfort of air conditioning and a cushy bed, she would need some encouragement going outside. Fun fact: She absolutely loves to sleep on her back and uses her sister as a pillow!”
Poppy needs a home with a yard. She also needs another dog to lean on and provide guidance. Poppy is fine with cats. She should not be with kids.
