Ruby Blue comes to us as an owner surrender. She is sassy and independent and the sweetest girl. She likes to keep her eye on her people and watch all the action going on in the house. She is not treat or toy motivated, which makes training difficult, and would thrive in a home where she the center of their world, like empty nesters.
She is cautious around strangers, especially men, but is accepting of them once she knows they give good belly rubs. 
She is very cuddly and is praise and pet motivated. So cuddly that you have to drag her out the door for a walk, because it interrupts her cuddle time! Once she realizes you’re serious about the walk, she jumps up and is happy to get with the program. She did not get enough socialization early on, so she does not play or run around the house and would do best with an owner that takes long walks for exercise.
Her crate is a safe space when she’s scared but doesn’t care for it much once warmed up to the home. She is house and potty trained and but is pretty restless and doesn’t like being contained. She doesn’t have any destructive tendencies, she simply just likes to explore when everyone is asleep or not home, change sleep spots every few hours, and eat at night.
Ruby Blue is pretty stubborn and will need an owner who is patient and lets her blossom on her own terms, someone who has rescue experience. She pays no mind to other cats and dogs her size and avoids large dogs on walks.
